Arriving in Portugal for a quick stopover on our way to Italy to drop Ashley off for a few months, our first stop was Lisbon. We didnt know what to expect from Portugal or Lisbon for that matter. It was our first time in the country and we were very pleasantness surprised. After one day exploring Lisbon, we headed to Sintra to check out the sites.
Sintra
Our Second Day in Portugal led us to the majestic town of Sintra. Visiting Sintra is like visiting a fairy tail. There are beautiful castles and palaces, nestled up in the mountains! An amazing place to visit.
Cristo Rie
Our last stop in Portugal, right before we headed to Italy was the Cristo Rei statue in Almada. The site is breathtaking and offers a very nice view of Lisbon from across the river.
