Why Visit Debyshire

Derbyshire has something to do for everyone. If you like drinking, there are enough pubs in the region to satisfy the laziest of alcoholics. There is a surprising music scene as well. We found live music quite accessible while we were in the area. If you like scenic places to hike the peak district is just for you. The peak district itself is very divers, there are lush green rolling hills, winding creeks and rivers, thick forests, and of course the moorlands (uninhabited grasslands). Besides having a presence in the Peak District, moorland’s have another claim to fame, the Moors murders! Geologically, the peak district is dense with limestone. As a result, there are many caverns and caves that are easy to visit. Finally, England in general is packed with historic buildings, monuments, castles, etc. Derbyshire is no exception. There are some really great historic sights to visit in this part of the country.
